Wave Race Blue Storm - Nintendo GameCube

For those less technically inclined, by framerate I mean the speed of the image. You've probably encountered in games before, that when too much is happening on screen, the image slows down. The framerate goes from high to low. You get the picture XD.
With Wave Race, it stays constant at 30. Even when playing with 3 other friends. Very impressive :D. But well,.... this shouldn't be seen as a downside, because the use of colors in the game makes up for it.
What also catches my attention is.......where is the commentator from the N64 version. AAAh really a shame, he was funny, instead they've replaced him with someone else. A bit of a tougher type. Very unfortunate, because the exclamations he made in N64 were really funny. OOOOH NOOOOOO!!!!! hahaha but well.....
Difficulty levels: OMG....people brace yourselves, this game is more difficult than walking on a tightrope while texting with Bassie!!!(a bit exaggerated.... but still XD). What the heck, the difficulty level almost reaches a point of frustration. In N64, I had no problem steering at all. But in this version....oh dear....every turn I take, I end up flying in all directions. I haven't completed a single stage without hitting the wall at least once. Now here comes the fun part.
WEATHER CONDITIONS......OMG...imagine, frustrating controls + STORM = Maximum frustration point reached. But hey, that's just me. Now I've heard that the controls have changed compared to the N64 version. The controls don't change the gameplay, it's more of a matter of getting used to it. SO.....PRACTICE A LOT FOLKS. So!! My conclusion. I would suggest giving the game a try, it's a fun game. It might not give you the WOW factor like Wave Race 64 did but I would give it a shot. Get ready for a bumpy ride!!!! XD
