Unique Good Cop/Bad Cop gameplay in True Crime New York City
The very first impression that absolutely everyone has with this game is: Oh GTA 2. And that's correct. At first glance, it looks exactly like it. But then again, it's not. In GTA, the police chase you in SWAT vans, FBI cars, and simply police cars. Here, the officers get out and start shooting at you, only stopping when you're dead.
In True Crime, things are different. You are actually an officer who can carry out missions a la Good Cop or a la Bad Cop. The police do chase you, but they first start beating you up before eventually shooting you dead. A bit friendlier at first, you could say. And what sets True Crime apart above all is its graphics. It looks a hundred thousand times better. (well, that might be a bit of an exaggeration) The game is more enjoyable, varied, and way more addictive. A solid 9 plus. (Please, do not use cheats with this game, it makes it way less fun. Seriously! Don't do it!)
