Multiple Classic Zelda Games in One Collection
When I first bought my GameCube, it came with Mario Kart: Double Dash. Inside that case was The Legend of Zelda: Collector’s Edition. It includes a few Zelda games. But what really steals the show are Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. These are originally Nintendo 64 games! There's also a demo of The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker. You can't play it for long, but you can see if you like it. It also includes 2 games from the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), which aren't that great unless you played them before... This is definitely a must-have, a solid 9.

Perfect collection for Zelda fans: four games on one disc!
Attention all Zelda fans! Four games on one disc, how cool is that! Why do I find The Legend of Zelda: Collector’s Edition such an amazing game? Firstly, the originality, secondly the (amazing!) story, and thirdly the long playtime (and fourthly, the Ocarina!). My favorite is Ocarina Of Time. This game requires a lot of patience (people lacking patience might be better off with a shooter or Mario). I'll mention a few examples; getting stuck (very annoying, but don't give up too quickly, Navi often gives good tips), the (too) long walking distances (fortunately you get Epona (-=)), and not knowing where to go (sigh). A minor issue, but everything else is fantastic! Just the music alone makes the game superb. I won't say more, you'll have to discover the rest yourself!

Four fantastic classics on one disc for an amazing price
4 fantastic classics on 1 disc and all that for that price. Definitely worth buying. Just for The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition or Majora's Mask alone, it's worth it, both games take about 70 hours to complete and never get boring. The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition has even been voted best game ever multiple times. If you're a fan of Zelda games, you really need to have this one.

Must-Have for Zelda Fans
In my opinion: If you're a huge Zelda fan and have already gotten rid of all your old Zelda games because you've played them 1000 times, then you MUST purchase The Legend of Zelda: Collector’s Edition! The first few versions for the NES and SNES are very old school and will only be for the true fans, but Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are just two really cool Zelda titles that can last a long time. Definitely one to have at home during a long (Christmas) holiday.

Perfect collection for any Zelda fan
The disc is simply amazing for any Zelda fan. I myself am a huge fan of Zelda games, and now with The Legend of Zelda: Collector’s Edition, I can play the old games again on my GameCube, which is just fantastic. Even the 1st Zelda is included. It's not just fun to play old Zeldas again from time to time, but it's simply wonderful to have different Zeldas, and at this price, you almost can't resist. It's a 110% recommendation for Zelda fans.

The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition for the Nintendo GameCube, released in 2003, is a collection of four classic The Legend of Zelda games. This edition includes The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

The Collector's Edition offers players the opportunity to experience some of the most respected and influential Zelda titles on one disc. The graphics and sound quality of the games remain true to the original releases. However, the Collector's Edition adds a valuable feature by allowing players to play Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on the GameCube, which was previously exclusive to the Nintendo 64.

This compilation is a treat for both long-time fans and newcomers to the Zelda world. It enables players to experience the series' evolution across different generations and appreciate the timeless quality of the games. It is a valuable addition to the GameCube library and an essential piece for enthusiasts of The Legend of Zelda franchise.

Four Classic Zelda Games on One Disc
The Legend of Zelda: Collector’s Edition is truly a super fun game. It's actually 4 games on 1 disc. The games included are: The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda 2: Link's Adventure, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and of course, the famous Ocarina of Time. Especially Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are very enjoyable. The other 2 are not really great, but still quite fun. There's also a video of the Wind Waker included (more fun for Zelda fans). The first 10 Zeldas in a row. Lastly, there's a cool demo of the Wind Waker included (so you can get a feel if you like it). So all in all, it's absolutely fantastic. This game definitely gets a solid 10 from me!

PS: If you tend to get quickly impatient and go crazy when you can't progress, then maybe this isn't for you!!!

33 tips: 31 Secrets - 2 Easter Eggs and Glitches

Secrets:
How do you obtain Biggoron's Sword in Ocarina of Time?
MarioCube
9 jaar
To get Biggoron's sword, you have to go through a whole trading game, which goes as follows:

As an adult, go to Kakariko Village, talk to the woman with the chickens, and you will receive an egg. Play the Sun's Song twice, and the egg will hatch. Take this rooster to Talon, wake him up (use the rooster), talk to him, and then go back to the woman who gave you the egg.
You will then receive Cojiro the rooster.
Next, go to the Lost Woods (first left), where someone is sleeping. Use Cojiro to wake him up, and you will receive an odd mushroom.
Before time runs out, go to the potion shop in Kakariko Village, talk to the old woman there, she will give you a potion, which you must then take back to the Lost Woods where a girl is now standing. She will give you a saw, which you need to take to the carpenter in Gerudo Valley (use Epona or the Longshot), and you will receive the Broken Goron Sword.
After that, visit Biggoron (at the top of Death Mountain) and show him the sword, he will give you a prescription.
Then go to King Zora (Zora's Domain), show him the prescription, and you will receive a frog's eye.
Hurry to Lake Hylia and visit the eccentric professor. He will give you eye drops.
Then rush back to Death Mountain and give the eye drops to Biggoron.
He will give you a claim check. Play the Sun's Song several times (so that 4 days pass), and you will receive Biggoron's sword.

Secrets:
How can I win a cow in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time?
MarioCube
9 jaar
Ever wanted to have a cow in your house? Well, now you can.
No, you don't have to participate in a quiz show.
Take Epona to Lon Lon Ranch, complete the course there, and break the record in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition.
Once you've broken the record, you'll receive a prize: A cow (why they then put it in your house is still a mystery to me...)

Secrets:
How can I defeat the Takkuri bird in Majora's Mask?
MarioCube
9 jaar
Are you struggling to find Rupees? Then here's a tip:

Head south from Clock Town. At the entrance of the Southern Swamp, in that large grassy area, you should see a bird flying around, the Takkuri bird. Kill it, but be careful! If you get too close, it will steal your stuff. And not just any stuff, items like Empty Bottles, shields, and even swords! If these get stolen, you can do three things to get them back. You can buy them at night from the Curiosity Shop in West Clocktown for a ridiculously high price, you can play the Song of Time, or you can simply reset the game.

Anyway, if you manage to kill it after a while, it will drop a Golden Rupee! A Golden Rupee is worth 200 rupees. If that's not enough for you, leave Termina Field and re-enter.

If you're having trouble killing it, get on Epona. The bird won't attack you then. Shoot arrows from the back of your horse. Don't have Epona yet? Use your bow from a great distance.

Secrets:
How do I obtain the Stone Mask in Majora's Mask?
MarioCube
9 jaar
In The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, you can unlock a secret by collecting all the heart containers and then heading to the goddess statue. Place a bomb there and detonate it to reveal a secret staircase leading to a hidden room. Inside, you can find a powerful sword upgrade. Good luck uncovering this secret!

Secrets:
How do you obtain the Fierce Deity mask in Majora's Mask?
MarioCube
9 jaar
To obtain the Fierce Deity mask in Majora's Mask, you need to collect all masks. Towards the end of the game, you must go to the moon where you'll find four playing boys wearing masks from the different regions. One of them is sitting alone against a tree, claiming to be lonely. Do not talk to him. Once you have all the masks, interact with the other four boys. They will ask for your masks. Don't worry, you'll get them back as long as you don't turn off the game. Next, they will suggest playing hide and seek one by one. After the game, you will be left with only the Zora mask, Goron mask, and Deku mask. Now, talk to the boy who was sitting alone against the tree. He will notice you have no masks left and will give you one of his masks, which is indeed the Fierce Deity mask. It's the most powerful mask you can obtain. This boy will also want to play, claiming to be part of the game, but he is actually the final boss. Once you defeat him, make sure to watch through the credits, as the game only saves after that. When you resume playing, you will have all your masks back along with the Fierce Deity mask. You can only use the Fierce Deity mask in boss chambers. I hope this information has been helpful. Goodbye.

Secrets:

MarioCube

As adult Link, head to Kakariko Village in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition and walk straight behind the first tree until you feel your controller vibrating (make sure the "Rumble Feature" is on). Place a bomb where it starts vibrating, revealing a hole in the ground. Defeat the zombies and a chest will appear containing a rupee worth 200 rupees!

Secrets:

You can perform various funny tricks with Gossip Stones in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition:
  • If you hit it, it tells you the time.
  • With the Mask of Truth, it sometimes gives you useful information.
  • Playing the Song of Storms will summon a Great Fairy that also replenishes your magic.
  • Playing Zelda's Lullaby will summon a fairy.
  • Hitting it with your hammer will flatten it. (I wonder how that happens? :D)
  • Hitting it with the hookshot will make it shake.
  • Placing a bomb next to it will make it shoot off like a rocket.
  • Shooting a fire arrow at it will make it spin rapidly and stretch out.

Link like Spiderman? It's possible! When you're an adult, head over to Kakariko Village and launch yourself from the tall tower onto a roof. This way, you can quickly get to the other side of the village. It's almost like Spiderman shooting his longshot XD.

If you've spoken to the soldier at the entrance of Death Mountain, you can even pick one up for free at the Market! But if you don't feel like making that whole journey, you can also find one in one of the graves at the Graveyard.

    MarioCube
    9 jaar
In The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, when you're at the ancient castle of Icana and have to fight the king's lackeys, make sure to use the Bremen Mask. This will make them start dancing, giving you great opportunities to attack.

    Secrets:
How can I get a Longshot in Ocarina of Time?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
Head over to the graveyard in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition. In one of those graves, there's a hole. You'll encounter the spirit of Dampe there, and you'll have to race against him. If you emerge victorious, you'll be rewarded with a Longshot!

    Secrets:
How do you save in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
When you click on the Ocarina of Time game, it will automatically ask if you want to create a saved file. If you are playing The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, you need to press start, and then B, after which it will prompt you to save.
At the beginning, it will also ask if you want to create a save file.
For Majora's Mask, you first need to have the Ocarina of Time. Then, you will learn a spell, and it will ask if you want to save. If you click yes, you will go back 12 hours in time.

    Secrets:
How can I make a bomb fly in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
Go into a hole underground where one of those time pole things is in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, place a bomb next to it, and watch it blast off like a rocket! But since it has nowhere to go, it explodes against the ceiling :D

    Easter Eggs and Glitches:
How can I prevent the thief from escaping to Termina Field during the granny robbery scene in the game?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
    I just found a glitch:
With that grandma being robbed by that thief, the thief will disappear to Termina Field. Be careful not to be too aggressive with hitting that thief, because then you will accidentally walk through to Termina Field and you won't get that mask from the grandma either!!! Then you'll have to redo that part (just got past it now :D).

    Secrets:
What happens if you keep hitting chickens in Ocarina of Time?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
It's fun but not very practical in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition; keep hitting the chickens all the time, they'll get angry and keep attacking you until you're dead.

    Secrets:
How are creatures stunned and attracted to you in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
If you hit animals with your hookshot (or longshot), they turn blue and get stunned. You also get pulled towards them in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition!

    Secrets:
How can I shoot down Gerudos without the membership card in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
If you don't have the Gerudo membership card yet in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, you can shoot Gerudos with your bow and arrow. In other words, goodnight Gerudos! PS: They only sleep for a while (quite long), but they do wake up again!

    Secrets:
How do I find a Skullkid in the Lost Woods and how can I defeat him to get an orange rupee worth 200 rupees in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
As adult Link, head to the lost woods in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition. Look for a skull kid and take him out with the Megaton Hammer (from the Fire Temple). He'll drop an orange rupee worth 200 rupees.

    Secrets:
How can I quickly earn rupees in Ocarina of Time?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
To earn a lot of rupees in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, you need to catch a fish in a bottle in a cave or near the Zoras. Then, head to the guy in town who asks if you want to show him something. Drop the fish in front of him, and he will pay you 100 rupees. You can do this as many times as you want, so remember where you found the fish!

    Easter Eggs and Glitches:
    What's a handy glitch for Majora's Mask?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
Are you doing the Kafei and Anju side-quest? Then this glitch might come in handy!
Make sure you're almost done, and for one of the final pieces you need to go to Sakon's Hideout in Ikana Canyon. You have to be there on the third day, at 6 PM. If you're not there, Sakon won't show up anymore, but no worries! With the glitch, you can always get in, even if you're not following the side-quest!
How does it work? Well, simple: On the right side of the big stone blockade, there's a small gap. Roll against this gap. If you don't succeed, try again. It's not that difficult at all. If all goes well, you should jump through the wall and enter the entrance. If you just jumped, you need to steer a bit to the left. If you don't do that, you'll fall and end up back at your starting point. You can also use this to save time. I've done it myself a few times already!

    Secrets:
How can I make time go almost 4 times slower in *Majora's Mask*?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
When I wanted to play the 'song of time', I didn't play 'right, A, down, right, A, down' (song of time) but 'down, A, right, down, A, right' and then time went super slow.
ps: I discovered it by accident.

    Secrets:
How do you get new songs in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and where do you find them in the menu?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
Every time you acquire a new song in the game (The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition), you don't need to write it down or memorize it; it's conveniently stored in your start menu.

    Secrets:
How can you teleport and make the fairy laugh in the Great Fairy Fountain?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
When you're in the great fairy location in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, head towards the triangle. If you play a teleportation song, choose to go there. You'll teleport away but you'll hear the fairy laughing.
...It serves no purpose but it's still fun.

    Secrets:
How can I leave Navi at the Temple of Time in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition?
    MarioCube

How can I obtain the Gilded Sword in Majora's Mask?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
Complete the ice temple and head to the place where all the Gorons are, but stay outside. Walk past it and you will now see a sort of cave that was frozen last time. Talk to the big Goron at the end of the corridor and he will give you a bomb.
Then go to the place with all the wolves, you will see a path leading upwards at the end. Follow the path and then open the rock at the end to enter. Talk to the baby Goron there and win the race, then you will receive golden dust.
Next, go to the mountain village and enter the house. You must be there on the 1st day during the day, not in the evening. You need to have 100 rupees, then talk to the big man behind the counter and he will ask for 100 rupees. Fast forward the day [the song goes like this: right right a a down down 2x and you have to play the song 2x in a row].
Then you have to pick him up and talk to him again, say yes and play the same song 2x again. After that, talk to him and you will receive the gilded sword!

    Secrets:
Where can you find the Golden Skulltulas in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time?
    MarioCube
    9 jaar
Below you can see where you can find the golden skulltulas:

You will receive a reward after you have killed a certain number of Skulltulas and collected their Tokens. You will receive your prize at the spider house in Kakariko Village.
10 Tokens: Adult's Wallet (where you can store 200 rupees)
20 Tokens: Stone of Agony (your rumble pack will vibrate when you are close to a secret)
30 Tokens: Giant's Wallet (where you can store 500 rupees)
    40 Tokens: Ten Bombchus
    50 Tokens: Piece of Heart
    100 Tokens: Golden Rupee

Skulltulas usually avoid sunlight. So, especially go out at night. You will find that you need to use your Boomerang or Longshot to collect some Tokens. You can keep bugs in a bottle and throw them in a Soft Soil for a Golden Skulltula. In the temples, you can figure out whether you need to be a child or an adult, and day or night doesn't matter.
