Loads of hate but that's just chatter!
"Star Fox Adventures" is an action-adventure game that took the renowned Star Fox franchise on a new path by adding elements of adventure and puzzles.

Super cool action/adventure game with amazing graphics and sound
My opinion is: Star Fox Adventures is a super cool action/adventure game. I first borrowed the game from a friend and even then I thought it was absolutely fantastic! Because you get completely sucked into the game, the graphics and sound are amazingly good. There are many fun missions involving fighting, sliding in the snow, sometimes flying, and doing amazing things! It's also fun to just walk around the village and try out some things.
My opinion: BUY THIS GAME, IT DESERVES A SOLID 10!!!
Oh, and one last little thing: the story is really well thought out and you also come across things related to friendship and such, which is super fun!

Great adventure, but few flying levels
Star Fox Adventures is truly an amazing game! It's really a lot of fun!! The adventure is very enjoyable and highly addictive. The only downside is that there aren't many flying levels included, and the ones that are there are very short. Apart from that, it's enjoyable to collect all sorts of things and discover new places all the time!!

Star Fox Adventures boasts impressive graphics and Zelda-like gameplay
Star Fox Adventures is a great game with an engaging story, beautiful design, stunning graphics, and enjoyable gameplay. The gameplay is almost identical to Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Many people see this as a drawback, but I actually think it's a positive aspect because the gameplay is so well-executed. Some people also lament the lack of flight segments like in the good old days of StarFox for the NES and N64. I can understand this, but there are small segments with the Arwing in StarFox Adventures, and a bit more. If this installment of StarFox doesn't appeal to you, then you might be better off purchasing StarFox Assault. I also want to get that one.
In conclusion, StarFox Adventures is a great game, and I recommend it to every StarFox fan who also enjoys RPGs.

This is exactly the kind of game you have to love. Whether it's the humor or Rareware's typical interpretation of a Nintendo formula, it just has that style that you haven't seen in years.

The gameplay is a bit different from what's usual for Rare. I often hear comparisons with Ocarina of Time, but that mainly applies to the controller layout (including automatic jumping over edges, and focusing on the opponent with the left shoulder button and parrying with the right).

Apart from that, it's what we used to simply call an adventure game, with lots of puzzles, fighting, and a bit of exploring. Perhaps a bit more straightforward than what modern players are used to, but that can also be quite refreshing; and there are plenty of secrets to discover!

The combat is somewhat simple (the combo A-A-A-A-(bam!)-A is pretty much all there is), but oh so satisfying! The story is enjoyable, with a few brilliant moments that make the whole game worthwhile. And it's one of the most beautiful games on the old Gamecube... something today's games could learn a thing or two from!

Unfortunately, many fans see it as the black sheep of the Star Fox series... it's obviously not a rail-shooter. But if that's not your cup of tea, and you prefer those old Rareware adventure games, this is your last chance! (before Rare got swallowed up by Microsoft and started making only Kinect games... :-( )

This game is amazing
This game is amazing because it has easy moments, but also difficult ones, and that makes this game incredibly fun. So if there's a GameCube game you want to start with, then Star Fox Adventures is the best choice.

Long-winded dialogues and simple actions
I haven't progressed very far yet, but so far I'm not enjoying it much. The dialogues in Star Fox Adventures are too long, and the actions are too simple and uninspired. The graphics are decent, but the story itself doesn't appeal to me at all. I'd rate it a 6/10.

Adventurous and Magical with New Character Krystal
Starfox is now a real adventure game set on dinosaur planet! It's a shame that there's hardly any flying action involved, but despite that, it's a real recommendation for people who love lots of fantasy, magic, fighting, and challenges! Also cool is that Krystal is the new character in this game! Star Fox Adventures also lasts a good while! I've already completed it once myself, but I'm planning on playing through it multiple times :D

First attempt as an RPG is a success
For the first time in 3D, it may have some disappointing ideas because it lacks Pilot Action. However, it brings something new and successful. It's nice to see new characters. As a first attempt to turn it into an RPG, it's great!!! Those guys at Nintendo have guts. They have created something original within the genre.
Fortunately, you can see the RPG element return in Star Fox Adventures.

Not like other Starfox games, but fun and challenging

A top game, Star Fox Adventures? That's right! It's a top game. With fun and lengthy levels, it takes a long time before you finish it. It's definitely recommended, even though I haven't progressed very far yet. Good graphics and great controls as well.

More of a mystery or an Easter Egg (hidden message).

Star Fox Adventures was actually planned for the N64 titled as Dinosaur Planet, but would have nothing to do with the Star Fox Universe. The main characters were Sabre (who was replaced by Fox) and Krystal, and Tricky, Kyte, and Randorn were their helpers. But after a review, they asked Rare if it could be turned into a Star Fox game. They wanted to place another Dinosaur Planet behind Adventures, but that never happened. And there may also be a connection to other games, referring to Tricky and all the other Easter Eggs.
Tricky was a Boss in Diddy Kong Racing, but it's not known if it's the same person, although Diddy Kong Racing was also made by Rare. In the F-Zero race, there is a racer named James McCloud, just like Fox's father, and he also wears the same clothing. And Mr. EAD looks quite a lot like Mario. And in the opening of Super Smash Bros. Melee, you saw them one after the other. Maybe they all live in one cozy Nintendo Universe, but in their own galaxy.
