Great Variety Among Characters in Shrek 2
I think Shrek 2 is an amazing and funny game. What makes it especially enjoyable is the wide variety among the characters: Shrek fights using his weight, Fiona fights in her typical Fiona style, Puss in Boots with his sword, the Big Bad Wolf can blow away enemies, objects, and fire, Little Red Riding Hood has her basket of goodies, and Donkey is, well, a donkey.
However, having knowledge of the movie is essential to fully understand the game. I believe it's a fantastic game for fans of action and adventure.

Lots of characters and exciting bosses
Shrek 2 is really awesome. You can choose from so many characters and there are also cool additional lands like the farm of the three pigs. Those bosses are also cool, like Puss in Boots, the game is almost as cool as the movie!!!

Multiplayer Fun with Various Characters in Shrek 2
Shrek 2 is another one of those games where you can have a lot of fun with a few friends, but it's definitely worth it to play alone as well. In this game, you can choose different characters in various levels: Donkey, of course Shrek, Fiona, and even Cookie. Each character has their own strengths: Shrek is great at hitting hard, Fiona can slow down time, and Cookie can take out difficult attackers from a distance with his staff.
This game has many levels, and each level is very different, which is done very well. It's also fun that you can play the story mode with 4 people at the same time. This game is a fun adventure game for both young and old alike.

Cozy Family Game for All Ages
This is a very enjoyable family game where you can play together. We played it yesterday with the three of us, including our 5-year-old son, and it was cozy! One defeated the snails, another collected the money, and in the end, we figured out together what the purpose of the seesaw was. Shrek 2

Fun for young children, but lacks challenge for older players
I am a big fan of the 3 Shrek movies. That's actually why I bought this game quite soon after getting a gamecube.
However, this game was quite disappointing to me!! The first time I played Shrek 2, I found it somewhat enjoyable, but I didn't progress much. Later, as I continued playing the game, I realized I was getting bored quickly. Each level does have some variation, but mainly in terms of appearance/design and not much else. I don't really play Shrek much anymore.
I believe Shrek 2 is a fun game for young children, but for older kids and teenagers, this game will probably stop offering a challenge fairly quickly.

Shrek 2, an underrated and forgotten game.
Shrek 2 is an underrated game. It offers challenges for both young and old. You really have to cooperate (it's more fun to play with 4 players than alone with the computers). Each level has its own level of difficulty, which makes the game so enjoyable. Some levels are very tough for younger players, but that allows different ages to play this game together. A real recommendation for players who enjoy a challenge!

Fun for young children, but not challenging for experienced gamers
Shrek 2 is enjoyable to watch (especially if you already know the movie). However, it's not a fun game. I completed the game very quickly and then there wasn't much left to it. I didn't find the game challenging enough and rather dull. However, my 7-year-old brother did have a lot of fun with it.

Fun challenges but quickly completed
I think this is one of the most enjoyable games I have, and I have quite a few... I'm not really into fighting games, but the combat in this game isn't too bad. I particularly enjoyed the hero time challenges. It's just a shame that I completed Shrek 2 quickly.

Great for kids, best version on GameCube
I played Shrek 2 at someone's place and it was quite fun. I have it for the PS2 though, where it's not as enjoyable as on the GameCube. My little brother absolutely loves it. So, for the little ones: BUY IT!

Fun game for young children and Shrek fans, but lacks challenge
Shrek 2 is a fun game. But..... The puzzles in this game are quite easy, the same goes for the enemies and bosses. So, if you enjoy playing an easy game, don't expect a challenge. The 3+ age rating is finally well suited for a game. The special Hero Times (done solo) are funny and often the most difficult/frustrating parts of the game. One downside is that when playing with multiple people and you have hero time, the rest can just go do something else until you've finally completed hero time. But it's Shrek and it's just a fun game (for anyone younger than 12 or for the die-hard Shrek fans). I wouldn't buy the game now, but anyone looking to play a funny game can have a few hours of fun with this.
