Resident Evil 1 - Nintendo GameCube

To unlock the Rocket Launcher, you need to complete the game within 3 hours on normal or hard difficulty in Resident Evil 1.

Complete the game once to receive a Special Key for a "Costume Room," where you can change into different outfits after unlocking them.

You only have a limited amount of ink ribbons so you can't always save in Resident Evil 1. Therefore, make sure to save as little as possible, especially in the beginning.

If you mix 1 red and 1 green herb together in Resident Evil 1, you'll regain full health. This is the most efficient way to use them. You can also add 1 blue herb, but that's only useful against poisoning and won't improve your health.

When you encounter an enemy that you can easily avoid, it's better not to kill it (like the zombie above the dining room in Resident Evil 1) so you can save your bullets for when you really need them in tricky situations. Also, don't waste your ammo on crows or bees. For stronger enemies, it's best to use your shotgun from as close as possible so you can take them down with just 1 shot.

The controls in this game aren't always easy. In the menu, select control type C from Resident Evil 1. This will make the game a lot more enjoyable!

When you kill a zombie in Resident Evil 1, make sure to burn it as well. If you don't, it will come back later, but much more aggressive and faster. You definitely don't want that!

The game has 2 different endings per character in Resident Evil 1! SPOILER ALERT!!!! When playing as Jill, you need to help Barry and try to save Chris to get the best ending!

If you're playing as Chris, you should save Rebecca and Jill for the best ending!
