Realistic Graphics and Challenging Gameplay in R: Racing
R Racing is the first realistic racing game I had on the GameCube, and it's a particularly fun game. The main character is a woman who is discovered as a talented race driver by driving in an ambulance.
It just feels great to stand on such a stunningly beautiful track with one of the gorgeous cars, realistic graphics, everything looks so real, and it's not easy to finish. So don't think you've completed the game after the story mode, because then you've only unlocked half of the cars.
There is also an Event Challenge mode where you have to complete about 200 races to finish the game. Those races are not easy to win; you also need to upgrade your cars, or you'll hardly win anything!! It will keep you busy for a couple of months, the menus look good, and you quickly immerse yourself in the game when you play it.
One of my beloved and frequently played racing games!!!

Unique female racer with stress bar adds excitement
I first played Ridge Racer on the PS2 and later a few times on the GameCube. The setup and design of the game are quite similar to anotheR Racing game called PGR (Project Gotham Racing). It seems like there are plenty of racing games that resemble each other, but that doesn't spoil the fun! In this game, you follow the young racer who is discovered while driving an ambulance. 'she'??? You might be thinking...that's right as a race car! The racer in this game is a woman! But not just any woman, she's quite feisty!
A fun addition to this game is the stress bar that you see at the top of the screen. You can even push the racer to her limits.
So, Ridge Racing is a racing game with some nice extras, but it still seems a bit too similar to other racing games.

The best choice for those seeking some realism in a racing game. A wide variety of cars and events. The visual quality is also very high for this generation. There is also an immersive story mode, which is not always the case foR Racing games. R Racing is a top-notch game!

How can I quickly earn R Points in R Racing?

(You must have purchased the Cerbera Speed Twelve car from GT class 1 in the Car Shop)
Go to the Event Challenge mode of R Racing, click on race and choose VS Rival.
Then select race #7.
If you need to choose a car, go to GT class 1 and select the Cerbera Speed Twelve.
You will easily win the race because you are much faster, and you will finish the track in 15 seconds as it is a drag race.
After completing this race, you will receive 100,000 R Points. That really pays off well; if you run this race a few times, you can buy and upgrade a lot of cars!
