Unique and immersive game, but pricey
The first online game for the Cube is definitely not the least. Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II is a unique and immersive game that you will enjoy for a long time. However, to fully experience the game, unfortunately, you will need to bring along a hefty sum of cash. (Score 82)

One of the best multiplayer games ever
Well, I've been playing Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II for a very long time and still play it. I think it's been about 10 years now... When the GameCube was still brand new, my friends and I had a lot of experiences with that game, arguing about stealing the weapons we earned xD, and laughing a lot. That's just how it goes with multiplayer games, of which Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II is one of the best multiplayer games ever. You should definitely give it a try.
PS: I never played online :(:( it makes me so sad.

A true classic with exciting online possibilities
Well... a true classic if you ask me. I bought Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II a while ago and played it for a long time, but it gets a bit boring after a while.
So, I decided to give online play a try. The official servers may be down, but there are still private servers (which are now legal). Well, if you've never played online, this is really awesome. You level up much faster because you can play in harder areas (I also have PSO on PC, which I find a bit more enjoyable, but oh well). If anyone wants to play online too, let me know ;)

Versatile character customization and co-op gameplay
Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II is a fun game. You can choose from various classes and even select different types of characters, with the option to later change details like hair color, etc. It's most enjoyable to play with a group of four, but it's also fun to explore different things on your own. The only downside is that you can't save in the middle of a level; you can only save when you stop playing. Additionally, if you want to play online, you need to purchase a 'Hunters License'. However, these are no longer available, and the online servers are down. Despite that, Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II is a fantastic game!

Fun levels and unique robots make the game engaging
I think Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II is a fun game. A few years ago, when I saw my brother and his friends playing, it looked boring. But when I created my own character and started playing, it became much more enjoyable. There are fun levels, and you can create a kind of unique robot to assist you. Plus, you can play online, which I've never done, but it looks interesting. (Unfortunately, the online servers have been closed since April 1, 2007.) So, I recommend it. One downside is that you can only save when you quit, not in the middle of a level. Once, when I was playing, the power went out, and I had to start over...

Seamless transition between singleplayer and multiplayer
Great game. I used to play Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II to death. The transition between singleplayer and multiplayer is seamless. If you're into this kind of RPG-like games, you must have Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II in your collection. 10 out of 10 points!

Great game for multiplayer, less fun solo
Fun!!! I borrowed Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II from a friend's friend. When I played it alone, it was boring after a long time, a LONG time. But when I took the game to a friend's place and we started playing it together, it was amazing again! (Although we could barely get past the second boss, and when we finally did, the GameCube didn't save our progress -___-). IT'S REALLY AN AWESOME GAME! AND I'M GOING TO BUY IT HERE AGAIN!!!
