Across from there (or very close by) is the tuning shop, an alley you can drive into when the police are chasing you. There's also a cooldown circle there (lack of a better word). Even if the police see you enter, they won't follow. Just watch out for any helicopters.

The Lotus Elise handles amazingly well, excels in acceleration, and is very fast but lacks something... If you hit something, a sign or whatever, you lose 30 km/h!!! A roadblock means certain death... The Lotus is quite fragile when it comes to collisions...

The SLR is insanely fast!!! Beautiful, except when loaded with body kits, but excels in handling and acceleration, yet it lacks one thing... If you're speeding and it can't go any faster, it's a shame... it can reach 398 km/h with junkman, but whyyyy don't they round it up? 400 sounds much better, right?
Ford GT points...
Great sound, super fast, terribly ugly when tuned (spoiler and body kits are just ugh), it handles nicely, and it can take a beating in terms of collisions. But it has to be ultimate because otherwise, it's very sluggish in acceleration... So, that engine and supercharger are more than necessary... Personally, my favorite car!
Mercedes Benz SL 500 points
If you can afford it (75 thousand), get this one. The 7-speed gearbox ensures a lot of top speed!!! Beautiful sound and super fast, looks great in pearly red with black sukulo8 (the type of wheels from Bull) wheels! The steering is perfect and very precise, a top-notch car!

Bad car, tuning is not public, only colors can be changed anyway. The nitro is at level 1 and cannot be upgraded, but the engine is pretty decent and the steering power is amazing. The speed is not impressive... I think it's a nice pile of nothing... I'm not a fan of BMW... The car is just boring, so just sell it, you'll get a nice sum of money! 250,000!!!!

The SLR and the Carrera GT are better. The sound is really annoying. The body is sleek but not pretty from the back... The handling is just okay, but don't buy it, it's a nuisance of a car!

Once you have level 5 on your tail and you're approaching Rockport City, you must take the S-curve (with that one hiding spot near the car dealer)! If you don't have a chopper on your tail, you can easily escape through that alley with or without cops every time!!! If you do have a chopper after you, take the alley! The chopper will stay airborne full-time, circling around, and the cops won't be able to reach you. If you've done it right, turn off your screen but leave your GameCube on. Come back in 5 hours... you'll have over 12,000,000 bounty! Every 10 seconds, 25,000 points will be added, so wait it out and you'll score a mega bounty in one chase!
You must escape once the points are enough. Drive far away, because the chopper is stuck. Once it's off your map, circle back and escape! Good luck!!!
Oh, I once had the cops drive into the alley too, so take care of them a bit if you have a chopper. You'll see Razor with his measly 10 million is nothing compared to your bonus!!!!

Once you reach Ming (and you have to race him), do whatever it takes, turn off autosave, and let's get started. Make sure you get the pink slip, because from Ming onwards, all bosses have ultimate performance! Only his Nitro is low, but you'll get it ultimate if you manage to beat him at all!
Tip 2: if you want to make it easier, take a less good car, because a boss must be beatable. He's slower, but if you have the Lambo, he's just ultimate so... Tear through those streets! Have a lot of winning fun!!!
