Adrenaline-Pumping Canyon Duels and Extensive Tuning Options
Need for Speed: Carbon is a really good game. The graphics are great, you have good control over your car, and especially the revamped way of tuning is very enjoyable. You can determine the shape of your bumpers, spoilers, etc. yourself.
The races are challenging and there are (more than) enough game elements, including the new Canyon Duel. Racing at top speed down a mountain path, knowing that at any moment you could fall off the cliff due to crumbling guardrails, sends adrenaline rushing through your body, and those are the highlights of this game. This game gets a 9/10 from me.

Need for Speed: Carbon is a super cool racing game.
Drifting, Circuits, Sprints, Drag races, you can do many different types of races, the game has beautiful graphics
and is very realistic with, for example, tuning cars and setting up your own crew.
And if you have nothing to do, just cruise through the city and if necessary, escape from the police and take them down.
A very extensive and fun game!!

Always start with a muscle car in Need for Speed: Carbon, tune it up as much as possible (very important: always set the turbo to high revs!). Challenge the final boss (Angie), if you win (which you usually do), you might get her car sometimes. That's a really good muscle car! Use it to easily beat the other 2 easy bosses. Next, buy a Renault Clio V6 (my favorite car, I always beat Lamborghinis with it so...) and fully upgrade that one too, and so on. You'll dominate the rest of the races until they're no longer a challenge. Then, get the Corvette Z06 or a better car (not worse, or you'll definitely lose against the last boss!) and fully upgrade that one as well, and so on. This way, you can easily win the game.

Don't feel like dodging a spike strip or can't dodge it anymore? Then use your nitro (NOS) and blast right through it!!! You'll notice that your tires are still intact! This way, you can speed away from the cops! And the cash? It'll come pouring in, without the risk of losing it by getting caught.
