Personal tip:
Why should you use the Dark Beam on Dark Samus? (Spoiler Alert)
Pepijn |

Spoiler warning:
Because Dark Samus is essentially a dark version of Samus, you might think that you deal more damage with the Light Beam, but this is not the case.
The Dark Beam actually deals more damage to Dark Samus, while the Light Beam inflicts the same amount of damage as the regular beam.
Why is this the case? Dark Samus is actually a reincarnation of the Metroid Prime from Tallon IV and not a being born or originated in the Dark Aether.
The only exception to this is during the second phase of the third battle with her at the end of the game after Emperor Ing has been defeated. Metroid Prime 2 Echoes
