If you can shoot a bludger, after it has been fired and is in front of the opponent, keep the control stick pulled back. That way, the bludger will hit its target.
If a bludger is shot at you, at the moment it is in front of you, fly backwards (push the control stick back) and the beaters will bat the bludger away.
NOTE: this trick may not work sometimes, but in almost all cases, it does. Practice makes perfect!

- fly a bit faster for a while
- deflect a Bludger
- sometimes receive extra Quidditch cards!

If you've chosen Bulgaria for the Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup and you've scored for the first time, quickly press L+R+L+R+L+R+L+R. If all goes well, you should see your score jump to 500 points!

When you have your team move ready, after scoring - when the Quaffle goes through the hoop - press the team move button in Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup (so, Z). If you do this at the right moment, you will receive the points for scoring plus those from the team move (for example, if your team move earns 20 points, it will be 20+10=30 points!). Just make sure not to do this too early or too late!
