Top game!
The Sims 2 Pets is one of my favorite games apart from the real classics.
Building your own house and life, and if things don't go as planned, just start over. That's the ultimate dream, of course. How you could lose your job by not showing up or forget to feed your pet. The mistakes you better not make in real life could be made in this game.

As a child, of course, I didn't understand everything and your life was a big mess, but as you gained more experience in the game and in real life, you were able to increasingly build a decent existence, without spending all your money at once on building your house!

Perfect for animal lovers!
I was browsing for a fun game when suddenly I came across The Sims 2 Pets. It didn't seem appealing to me, but my little sister really wanted it. So, I bought it. Once it arrived, I couldn't stop playing it. Playing with your dogs, building houses - I thought it was fantastic. Sometimes, I was even playing the game on my birthday. In a few words: a very enjoyable game for animal lovers. (Like me!)

Extensive and hilarious game with addictive gameplay
When I went to the store, I initially wanted to buy something else, but my mum said, "hey, that's a fun game," and so we bought it. Once I got home, I started playing and got completely hooked: building houses, creating people. It's really extensive, and every time I play, I end up laughing out loud at their weird language. Definitely a RECOMMENDATION :D

Unpredictable and sometimes boring gameplay
It's truly a game that quickly veers off in unexpected directions, making it quite dull to play. When everything (especially socially) goes well, it's cool, and then it's less tedious. The Sims 2 Pets isn't terrible, but it's not the game...

Disappointing graphics and gameplay compared to The Sims 3
I found this game to be very disappointing. The Sims 3 is so much better, I didn't expect this. I thought it would be nice to get The Sims 2 Pets for the GameCube, but after 2 minutes, I already lost interest. I was still debating whether to get The Sims 2 Pets or the regular Sims 2, but I ended up choosing Pets. However, I think overall it doesn't look nice. Very simply done. The only plus point is that you can control your sims yourself, so you can make them walk around.

Fun, but quickly becomes tedious
The Sims 2 Pets is quite enjoyable. However, it does become very tedious after a while. Personally, I find Sims Out and About much better. With that, you have goals and something to focus on. With Sims 2 Pets, you don't have that.

Create and personalize your own pets
A very fun game. The Sims 2 Pets is already a very enjoyable game on its own, and now they have added pets too. Very nice. You can create the animals yourself, their appearance and even clothing. It's also nice that you can leave your own lot and go to the playground with your pets. Another nice feature is that you can teach the animals tricks and they can have offspring. It's a shame that the controls are not very good, but overall, the game is very enjoyable.

Cute Animals, But Can Get Tedious
The Sims 2 Pets is indeed a very fun game, but it can become tedious in the long run. You do have goals, but sometimes you can't fulfill them. I also find it a shame that you can't have children, so you don't really progress. The animals are really cute, but you have to teach them a lot. You can also do a lot with your career, for example, I now earn $1036.00 a day!

I think The Sims 2 Pets is a super fun game, especially because of the animals. If your parents won't let you have a pet, then buy this game because you can do all sorts of things with your dog or cat. You can even buy a hamster! You can teach them all sorts of tricks too.
