It really works!
DK Jungle Beat is one of the best GameCube games. Without these Bongos, this fantastic game would never have been possible.

The Bongos are sturdy, work accurately, and look great. The clap sensor ensures that you have to both drum and clap, and that detail is what makes it such a great accessory.

Gaming with the bongos is superb and truly fun!

Fun and original way of playing
Even though the DK Bongos are not compatible with many games, it remains a fun and original piece of hardware!
I had expected that, especially since buying it second-hand, it wouldn't work optimally. But nothing could be further from the truth! Everything works perfectly, and even the clap sensor still works great! Highly recommended.

What is the DK Bongo and how does it work?
The DK Bongo is a controller that connects to your GameCube. Connecting it is just like a regular controller, by plugging the cable into a controller port. The Bongo consists of 2 drums that you can hit and a built-in sound sensor. This sensor detects when you clap.

Which games are compatible with the DK Bongo?
You can use the Bongos for 4 games, namely, Donkey Konga, Donkey Konga 2, Donkey Konga 3 (only released in Japan) and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.

What is the DK Bongo Blast and why was it not released for GameCube?
This game was supposed to be released for GameCube. Unfortunately, Nintendo decided that it would be better to release this game for the Wii. In addition, they left the Bongos behind and renamed the game to Donkey Kong Barrel Blast.
