Drive in a minecart and try to stay on the track. Escape from strange creatures. Crash loves apples. Collecting 100 apples grants you an extra life. The mask also provides protection once.

Great for young players with lots of variety Quite enjoyable.
I have Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex and I used to play it a lot in the past.
I had a lot of fun with it, and the game is so big that I never managed to finish it.
There are many fun extra things you can do, like being in a super cool robot suit. Additionally, there is a lot of variety in the levels, which adds some diversity.
My opinion: A very enjoyable game if you're around 10 years old, but if you're older than 12, I'm not sure if you would still find it fun.Crash Bandicoot: De Wraak van Cortex Cijfer:

Disappointed Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex is a port from the PS2, where it probably should have stayed. I'm not really impressed by this game, while many other Crash Bandicoot games are really good. The graphics are poor (one of the worst on the GCN), the hitboxes are incredibly inaccurate, and the storyline doesn't really make sense. The only positive point I have to give to this game is the variety in gameplay.Crash Bandicoot: De Wraak van Cortex Cijfer:
5,5Crash 4? "Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex" is the fourth installment in the Crash Bandicoot series and was originally released for the Nintendo GameCube, along with other platforms. The game received praise for its vibrant and colorful visuals, making full use of the capabilities of the GameCube. The character designs, environments, and animations were generally well-received.
The gameplay closely resembles previous titles in the series, with Crash exploring various levels, defeating enemies, and confronting bosses. Some players appreciated the nostalgic feel, while others felt the game didn't innovate enough compared to its predecessors. Read more...
Opinions on the level design were somewhat divided. While some praised the variety in environments and challenges, others felt the game didn't bring enough new ideas.
The controls were generally considered responsive, but some players reported occasional frustrations with certain precision-based platform sections.
The length of the game was deemed sufficient by most, and there were various collectibles and challenges to encourage replayability.
The story typically doesn't take center stage in Crash Bandicoot games, but some players appreciated the lighthearted and humorous tone of the story.
Remember that individual opinions may vary, and it's always a good idea to consult more recent reviews for the latest perspectives on the game. Crash Bandicoot remains a favorite with Aku Aku as the highlight Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex has always been one of my favorite games. It's just a crazy chicken that always has to win in the craziest ways against the crazy Cortex. What I love the most is Aku Aku (mask). I rate this game a 9.2.Crash Bandicoot: De Wraak van Cortex Cijfer:

Poor camera control frustrates in Crash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex Crash games are always quite fun, no matter the console. However, this game really disappointed me. The graphics are pretty good, the story is nicely crafted, but that's where it ends.
The most annoying thing about the whole game is that you can hardly control the camera. This might sound a bit vague, but let me explain. The camera is positioned behind Crash, but when you try to walk back, the camera just stays put. As a result, you can move back in your level, but you can't see a damn thing! This really frustrated me a lot, and ultimately led me to sell the game. Such a shame, because it's actually a decent game.Crash Bandicoot: De Wraak van Cortex Cijfer:

Fun single-player experience, but lacks multiplayer option Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex is really enjoyable. I've only completed it once, because it takes quite a while. But it's also a lot of fun, so it doesn't matter. It would be even more fun if you could play The Wrath of Cortex with two people. But I always take turns with my friends. That's fun too! I give this game a 9!Crash Bandicoot: De Wraak van Cortex Cijfer:

Many vehicle levels, less fun than previous parts I find Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex a fairly enjoyable game. When I was younger, I used to play Crash Bandicoot games on the Ps1. Back then, I had part 2 and thought it was amazing, so I quickly got part 3 as well. I also liked that one, but not as much as part 2. When I got my GameCube, I saw Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex in the store, and decided to give the game a chance. Half of the levels in the game involve planes, boats, etc. I haven't liked those since part 3... So, I was quite disappointed by that. Nevertheless, it was still a fun game, and I ended up enjoying it for a long time!Crash Bandicoot: De Wraak van Cortex Cijfer:
