Challenging Missions in Call of Duty: Finest Hour
Call of Duty is one of the better games about World War II. The design isn't particularly special, but the missions in the game are somewhat varied. It's still, like all other WWII games, mainly about shooting, shooting, and more shooting, but there is some form of variation due to the different types of missions. What I find most enjoyable is that as a player, you participate in missions that actually existed.
The gameplay is actually quite similar to other WWII games, such as the entire Medal of Honor series. For myself, this doesn't take away from the game, but I can imagine that others might find this disappointing. The weapons are the same, and the environmental factors are almost identical. However, the missions are more challenging than in Medal of Honor.
In short: a fun game, almost identical to other war games, but with missions that offer more challenge!

In the first tank level in the Russian storyline, it's easiest to use the `first person view` to shoot down enemies with Panzershrecks or MP-40s. The MP-40s won't harm you, but they can be annoying. Using the `third person view` will often cause you to miss.
